Then, when it’s time to get ready to go out, you open your wardrobe and it’s just overwhelming!  Finding the perfect outfit in your overflowing wardrobe and knowing  what’s suitable for your body shape, age and the occasion can be a real struggle?

Read on for  some practical wardrobe tips for busy women who want to look good without sacrificing valuable time. N.B. You will have to set aside some time initially, but this will save you soooo much time, money, energy and stress in the long run!

Know Your Style

When in doubt about what’s suitable for your age and the occasion, it’s essential to understand and embrace your personal style. Discovering your Signature Style can take a little time, but saves you so much in the long run. Take some  time to consider what you want to look like, if there is anyone in the public eye you admire for their style. Start to identify key elements that resonate with you, such as colours, patterns, or silhouettes, and incorporate them into your wardrobe. By staying true to your style, you’ll always feel confident in what you’re wearing.

Know Your Colours

If it’s simplicity you’re after, choose a basic colour palette of your best neutrals and your most flattering accent colours. This will ensure that you can mix and match your items with ease. I always suggest starting with two colours that harmonise with each other and add a light and dark neutral that balance with the colours. – You can always add more colour in when you have your basics in place!

Organise Your Wardrobe

One of the main reasons you may  not  find anything quickly in your wardrobe is lack of organisation and structure. Dedicate some time to declutter and organise your clothes. Sort items by type, color, or season. As you go through what you have, always keep in mind your Signature Style and making sure you have all areas of your life covered. Once you have a well organised wardrobe, finding the perfect outfit becomes a breeze.

Create Go-To Outfits

To save time and reduce decision fatigue, consider creating a few go-to outfits for different occasions. Take pictures, or hang the items together in your wardrobe, so you can get to them easily.

Invest in Timeless Essentials

Have a collection of timeless essentials that can be mixed and matched effortlessly. These are versatile pieces that never go out of style and can be the foundation of various outfits. It’s a good idea to use your neutrals for the majority of these items and make sure you have enough for each season.

Plan Ahead

To avoid last-minute outfit panic, try to plan your outfits in advance. Have photos or notes of successful outfits that you know ‘just work’ so you can go straight to them with minimum effort. Conclusion:

Being a busy women doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style. By organising your wardrobe, creating go-to outfits, knowing your personal style, investing in timeless essentials, and planning ahead, you can simplify the process of getting ready and always look your best. Remember, confidence is the key to pulling off any outfit, so embrace your unique style and enjoy the process of expressing yourself through your clothes, even with your busy schedule.
