Key colour trends for UK fashion in Autumn/Winter 2025/26 include a rich, earthy mix of warm browns, rich greens and muted yellow. Plus striking tomato red and warm creams.

If you’re looking for something a little ‘cooler’ we have a pale pastel blue, a mid, bright blue and even a deep grey blue. All offering us a sense of ‘calm and authenticity’

My Top 3 and How to Wear Them

1. Cherry Tomato

This one is self explanatory. Bright, clear and warm, just like a ripe tomato. This cheerful shade will cheer up a grey day and work well with all  your favourite neutrals.

I look forward to wearing cosy jumpers, or a crisp blouse in this shade and I have already invested in some red trainers (Next

If Cherry Tomato, feels a bit overpowering for you, maybe just a scarf with a navy or grey coat. or part of a softer pattern. However you wear it, it will make you smile!

2. Sunburn

A burnished, warm brown. I like to think of this one as a ‘cuddle colour’. It’s soft and comforting, especially if worn as a fluffy knit, like this one from M&S.  I think teaming Sunburn with Wave Ride (see below), would make a stunning combination.

Choosing shades like Sunburn for trousers, skirts, jackets and coats can be hugely versatile and so many other shades and patterns can happily compliment it.

3. Wave Ride

Described as a tropical, ocean blue. This shade brings summer into the autumn & winter.  Turquoise blues don’t have to be relegated to summer.  A blouse like this could easily work in winter. Perhaps layered with a tank top in Almond Milk  – The soft cream from the new colours.

More Combinations for the New Season

  • Build around browns: A Sunburn or Pinecone coat teamed with a Misted Yellow or Cherry Tomato scarf.

  • Like Contrast?: Try Evening Blue or Dark Shadows on your bottom half and Wave Blue or Tomato Red on the top.

  • Layer the greens: Rain Forsest or Iguana jacket and trousers with a Sheepskin jumper or blouse.

  • Sprinkle on pastel: Add Starlight for soft jumpers and shirts.

That’s my take on the new colours, which of the new shades will work for you?
